Imagine 3 days of guided introduction to some of the most important sites in a city so rich in history.

Michelangelo Bounarroti and Michelangelo Caravaggio are two of Rome's greatest painters.  Separated by a generation of time. But each having profound influences on their own generations and those to follow. We will spend our days exploring these two important painters.  Many of these artist greatest works are hidden in small local churches.  Part of the fun is to visit these works "in situ."  As the artist intended.  Along the way we will discuss the most important aspects of art from the Renaissance, Mannerism, and the lasting effect of Caravaggio on artists for generations to come.

But it's not all art history!  You will discover Rome like a local.  From tiny trattorias to fantastic shopping streets.  Want the best Negroni in Rome?  We know where to find that.   Want to visit my favorite art supply store anywhere?  We got that also.  In Rome history speaks as loud as the present.   As we make our way about we will hear about the many stories and characters that have inhabited the city.
